Physical Therapy Aide Job in Sewell, NJ

TheraSport Physical Therapy is hiring for a part-time Physical Therapy Aide job in Sewell, NJ, and we’re looking for someone energetic, dependable, and genuinely interested in healthcare. This is a hands-on way to get into physical therapy, exercise science, or a related field, working directly alongside licensed clinicians in a busy outpatient clinic rather than watching from the sidelines. Whether you’re a student weighing a future in healthcare or simply someone who enjoys working with people, this role gives you real exposure to how an outpatient clinic runs day to day.

A Therapist-Owned Clinic Built on One-on-One Care

TheraSport is owned and run by practicing clinicians, Jennifer Perno and Daniel, who are personally involved in patient care and rooted in the communities we serve across Merchantville, Sewell, and Delran. Our mission is to empower patients to overcome pain, injury, and physical limitations through one-on-one, evidence-based treatment, and that same personal attention extends to how we support our team. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you’ll work in a clinic that values intimacy and trust over volume, where returning patients and word-of-mouth reputation matter more than how many people we can move through the door. Our patients come from across South Jersey, from student athletes recovering from sports injuries to adults working through post-surgical rehab, and the same personal attention we give them is what you can expect from our team as you learn the ropes.

What You’ll Do Day to Day

You’ll greet and escort patients, prepare treatment areas, and help keep patient flow moving smoothly so our therapists can focus on care. You’ll set up, clean, disinfect, and organize treatment and exercise equipment, and help with laundry, restocking, and opening or closing duties so the clinic stays organized and welcoming. You’ll anticipate what therapists and patients need, step in at the front desk when things get busy, and use downtime to take initiative rather than wait to be told what to do next. Throughout, you’ll follow HIPAA and safety procedures, protect patient privacy, and represent the clinic with the same professionalism our patients have come to expect from the whole TheraSport team.

This role is a genuine entry point into the field: you’ll learn directly from licensed physical therapists, build knowledge of exercise and equipment, and see what outpatient care looks like from the inside. The schedule is flexible and part-time, which works well alongside classes or other commitments, and the team is supportive of people who are still figuring out where they want to go in healthcare rather than expecting you to already know it all.

Compensation:

  • $16-$18 per hour

Promote safety and professionalism — maintain patient privacy, follow HIPAA and safety procedures, demonstrate professionalism and dependability, and contribute positively to the TheraSport team and patient experience

Benefits:

  • Hands-on experience in a clinical outpatient setting
  • Opportunity to learn from licensed physical therapists
  • Flexible part-time scheduling
  • Supportive and team-oriented work environment

If you want real clinical exposure and a team that will actually take the time to teach you, we’d love to have you apply. The full job description and Quick Apply for this Physical Therapy Aide opening in Sewell, NJ are below. It takes less than 60 seconds — no account required!
